Hi, I’m Megan!
In case you were wondering…..
Big 3: Virgo sun, Scorpio moon, Gemini rising
Top 5 Strengths: Adaptability, Positivity, Empathy, Developer, Input
Myers-Briggs: ENFP
Enneagram: 2
I’m a curious, empathetic, and creative person who loves helping others do the hard work of transformative growth. I’m passionate about storytelling and finding just the right words to capture a moment or a key point. I am deeply interested in applying systems thinking, design frameworks, and positive psychology practices to create more fulfilling ways to live.
I live in Oakland, CA with my cats Zuko and Korra. I work in higher education and am pursuing a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership with a Coaching emphasis. In my free time, I’m usually searching for records and vintage board games at my local thrift store or estate sale, enjoying a panoramic view from a park blanket, maintaining my Duolingo streak (currently learning chess!), building a beginner woodworking project, or taking a scenic drive to visit family and friends.
I would be honored to sit shotgun on your road trip to an organized home or to your next job 😎
My philosophy 🤔
Start with “why”
I believe there are no one-size-fits-all solutions for anything. I will work with you to clarify your intentions, set achievable goals, and make sure that we are moving in the right direction for YOU. All clients who sign up for a multi-session package will receive a customized agreement catered to their personal goals and capacity.
You are the expert of your life
I will never pressure you to get rid of something you’re not ready to part with, and I will follow your lead when it comes to finding the right home for your items. Similarly, you are in charge of your career narrative and how you present your work experience to prospective employers. I will always check in with questions and defer to your needs, even if I gently ask “why?” or offer another perspective.
Play to your strengths
It’s exhausting and often counterproductive to try to be something (or someone) you’re not to achieve your goals. Trust me, I’ve tried! Instead of pouring time and energy into an idealized version of yourself, I will work with you to build systems that meet you where you are and celebrate your unique strengths.
The work is never truly done
It is our life’s work to continue to find meaning in the experiences and items that we accumulate over time. My goal is not to reach a perpetual state of completion - how boring would life be if you figured everything out so early on? Instead, my goal is to help you get started, provide tools to make you more efficient, and cheer you on along the way.
